Yonni de Haar is a technical director working across motion design and AI-driven production pipelines. He designs and builds the systems behind the work — from generative compositing pipelines to automated 3D-to-real-world workflows — and has done so both inside leading studios and as an independent technologist. Recent systems work includes an automated AI photography pipeline for BeyndAI, a photogrammetry-to-3D conversion tool built for The New York Times, and a generative materials pipeline for Orbital Materials.

How I work

Most of my work sits at the intersection of craft and infrastructure: I don’t just deliver an output, I build the system that produces it — reliably, and in a form others can run without me. That means node-based pipeline design in Houdini, orchestration of AI models (ComfyUI, GPT/Qwen image tooling, Python-based automation), and enough production-side judgment to know when a system is actually ready to ship.
